Penalties for late submission

The enterprises applying Circular 200/2014/TT-BTC other than state-owned enterprises:

  - Private enterprises, joint venture companies: no later than 30 days from the end of the fiscal year.

       - Other accounting units: no later than 90 days from the end of the fiscal year.

The enterprises applying Circular 103/2016/TT-BTC other than state-owned enterprises:

     All small and medium-sized enterprises submit annual financial statements: no later than 90 days from the end of the fiscal year.

Fine from 5-10 million

Submit financial reports to competent authorities, publish financial reports less than 03 months behind the prescribed deadline.

Fine from 10-20 million:

 - Publicizing financial reports with incomplete content as prescribed;

  - Submit financial reports to competent authorities without attaching audit reports for cases where financial statements are required audit by law;

  - Submit financial reports to competent authorities 3 months or more behind the prescribed deadline;

Fine from 20-30 million:

  - Information and data published in financial reports are false;

  - Providing and publishing financial reports for use in Vietnam with inconsistent data within an accounting period.

Fine from 40-50 million:

  - Failure to submit financial reports to competent state agencies;

  - Failure to disclose financial reports according to regulations.
